Red Vuce Annual Meeting - Trinidad and Tobago

main-slide-4

In noviembre 2018, we took part in the Red Vuce meeting at Trinidad and Tobago. Red Vuce is an IDB initiative which embraces the Single Windows policy makers from Latin American countries. In this session we presented a smart supply chain concept model combining import/exports permits and Port Community Systems to streamline logistics and risk management. Latin American countries are encouraged to enhance IT capabilities, governance rules and processes to enable cross border information adopting world´s best practices. New technologies are still a hot topic and huge benefits are likely to be reaped as long as such developments are fully understood and valued. Pacific Alliance interoperability system sets a suitable environment to test more sophisticated N2N cross border data exchange.
