During the first week of June, the annual World Conference on Information Technologies of the World Customs Organization (WCO) took place for the first time in Lima. Professor Yao-Hua Tan from the University of Delft in the Netherlands showed an interesting case making use of the advantages of hosting data in the cloud to facilitate flower imports in the Netherlands, with a multiagency control approach. It was also discussed how the blockchain could benefit AEO – MRA programs. Finally, the Institute for Trade Facilitation presented the case of the Pacific Alliance Agreement and whether the Single Windows can be a platform for an efficient data exchange that ensures the expected benefits of an AEO program
